The End of the Year..

Well this year is coming to a close very quickly. This has been a budget blowing year with LOTS of great release, some that are not as desirable and some that just have us scratching our head. I must say thank you to all the creative store owners who have come out with these very detailed designs. We have seen new companies emerge with more options to use in out machines. I am not sure I will be updating the blog in the last few days of 2008. You guys need to get posting some new layouts with all those limited dies you recieved from Santa. I think I have run out of layouts and cards to post on the weekly blog. But I also must admit that I have been so busy that I have not been able to check the Quickutz gallery as ofter. I will start it up in 2009. I still can not believe that we start a new year in a few days. Where has this year gone. Oh yeah I know.. We have been stocking scrapbook stores, watching the calander and waiting for the next release to be announced. Hopefully 2009 will be less taxing on our wallets. May you all have a safe and Happy 2009.
Christy

Also-- If anyone has the die number for the 3 new Archiver dies please drop me a line. Thanks..

Survey says...

Yes.. I will add some of the other dies that are exclusive dies that will work in the revolution and squeeze.. So...here we go..

Did you know that Stampin' Up has teamed up with Big Shot/Sizzix to create some exclusive dies.. Check them out here. Big Shot Dies from Stampin' Up

There is also an exclusive die though Delta Cuts but I can not locate it right now. It is a moose.

The were design by Shop Remember when by Go Kreate. This is a company who has been creating dies in the UK and is making it's way into the US.. Go Kreate has also teamed up with Scrapy Land to create a versatile Cross die.

These are from Scrapping Cottage. I love the Holiday Moose. He reminds me of some of the stamps created by Stamps by Judy.

Looking for your 2cents...

I was wondering.. Yes bad thing this time of year.. Would you guys like me to post other exclusive dies that are being released? These would be dies that can be used in our Quickutz cutters. Some of our favorite stores who have released exclusive dies through Quickutz have also started releasing dies with other companies who create dies for multiple machines. I am looking to find out what you guys think. Let me know... Leave me a comment because I want your options..

Also our dream of the Sea Creatures border being available for the Silhouette is a misprint. Dang it. Maybe down the road then will start making that an option.

Interesting find..

I found something on eBay quite interesting. In the list of exclusive dies there I have not been able to place a die to the #39 slot. But.... I have found it.. It is not a regular die it is a Goosebumps. You remember the around the world promotion with the release of the state, counties and 4 alphabet sets. If you went to the store and bought a certain amount you qualified for a free code to enter to win one of the trips. Well the #39 is the Around the world goosebump dies used to emboss the passports. Well I was able to get my hands on one. And there are a few more still on eBay. Think about embossing and covering the quickutz 2008. Just an Idea.. So Mystery solved..

I know I know... I don't mean to be a tease..

But I can only give you what I have heard.. I have heard multiple dates for different releases.. I have heard December 16th, 18th & 22nd. We do know that Quickutz is set to release a bunch of new dies on the 16th. The Archiver's as you know is a guessing game. Some say the 16th and others the 22nd. I have heard there is probably a die being released on the 18th. Only time will tell.. I must say Quickutz has included the Hobby Lobby dies in their latest newsletter. I might have to make a run to Hobby Lobby on my trip to North Carolina later this month.. So in a nut shell in the next week or so we well all be drooling over new 2x2, 4x4 and border dies. Some people were lucky to catch a glimpse at the new Quickutz release when is was posted on a stores blog before it was pulled. I did and I must say they will look good etched in glass. So sorry to tease but that is all I know..

Hey Archivers--- I would like to see a Candle to go on top of the Cupcake. Sorry just my 2 cents.

I got a little creative..

I posted a blog poll. Just for giggles.. Let's see what you guys have to say.

Heck.. Watch your email box, message boards, ebay and of course here... There may be another few dies released before the end of the year... So that is all I have been tipped off too.. Can't wait to see what Quickutz Claus has in his bag of tricks..

The tips are rolling in..

I have recieved 2 emails from two sweet angels.. One just recieved word that the Archiver's dies are the three that I have posted photos and they are the only ones.It was also tipped that these dies are not being released until December 22nd. Just in time to spend the Archiver's gift cards. I also heard word that the January release is 2 dies and they are birthday themed.

Thank you angels for your tips. Like I have said before this blog is only kept current from tips from you the reader. Thank you to all who have sent me tips.

With this information I would just like to say thank you Archiver's for listening to the requests of our checking accounts and credit cards for a slight vacation.

There are some steals...

Surfing ebay this morning I have noticed a lot of the Archiver's exclusive dies going pretty cheap. I even saw a giraffe with a little over 4 days left and it is currently $10 and another with a day left at $45.. I also know that some of you are looking for the whale and he has 10hrs left and is only $20 right now..

There are also some outrageous prices also.. Someone has the halibut listed for $379.99.. no that is not a typo.. there is also someone who has 3 of the Giraffes for $199. I just stumbled across the policeman hat for $750. Now that is a house payment there. Good gravy..

Hopefully some of these may nake it your way and under your Christmas tree.
