Thank you ladies...

I have some answers about the Sizzlets. Yes, you can use the Sizzlets dies in the Rev with the gridded part of the sticky mat as the cutting mat. Just to be clear, this is the Sizzlets dies that will work. The regular Sizzix dies, however, will NOT work in the Revolution tool as they are much too thick. HTH! Thank you Scrapendipity and Crackerjack girl.

Questions..

Natasha asked which store the Cross & Fish die came from.
--- On the left hand side of the blog there are links to All the stores and which dies they sell. The cross & fish die i sold by Sandy's Scrapbook Corner from North Carolina.

mandalin001 asked if the Sizzlets dies work in the Revolution.
---I will once again admit I can not answer that question. So I am putting it out to the readers.

Hope all have had a great weekend. My your week be a memorable one. Hey don't forget to get those election dies out and create a layout about this history making week.

The verdict it is...

Bosskuts dies do fit in the revolution. But there are some dies that are slightly larger then 4 inches. Thank you to all you wonderful loyal reading for answering. Thank you all. Hope your 2009 becoming a creative one.

Oh I forgot to tell you guys. If you are at Hobby Lobby looking for the Exlusive dies. They keep a very limited amount of any of the dies on the shelf. They may only have one of each on the shelf but they do have the rest in the back. So feel free to ask an assocciate or order them on line (www.craftsetc.com). As for a new release from them. I have not heard if they are or are not. So keep your ears peeled...

Some help needed..

Hello to all my loyal Quickutz addicted readers. We have a new member to our obsession. She goes by the name of mandalin001. She is in need of some information. I am sorry I do not know this so I am asking all you lovely readers.

Hello. I'm pretty new to die cutting, having received my quickutz revolution for
Christmas. I was wondering if the bosskut dies were compatible. I've heard
from some they are, and then from others that it's not recommended that they
be used on the revolution. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks so much!

If someone could help answer her question. I would be glad to help but my only cutting systems is the Revolution, Squeeze and Cricut. I have a couple if embossing folder from Cutterbug and a few Go Kreate dies. Thank you everyone for sharing your knowledge. Happy Creating.

It was asked what CHA was. It is the Craft & Hobby Association. They have a big trade show for retailers in January. A lot of companies exibit the products for the coming year. I know if some of us were able to go it would be like dying and going to heaven. There are some stores who attend do post pictures of items on their blog and message boards. I hope this helps. Happy Tuesday.

January 25th Quickutz release

Here is some info sent to me about the CHA release.
10 - 2x2 dies,
3 - 2x2 alphabets (1 of which is a $199.00 one),
12 - 4x4 shapes,
3 - 4x8 alphabets,
Cookie Cutters -3 - alphabets, 2 shapes, 1 - border.

Thank you guys..

Thank you Kate & Lorna for confirming that the Go Kreate dies fit perfectly in the revolution.

Dies and adapters

Bunnie asks -
Does anyone know if these dies require and adapter if using the Revolution?

As far as I know, the Go Kreate dies do not need an adapter for to be used in the revolution. They are like the Delta Cuts dies. Go Kreate also makes the Dies for the Tinker & Co dies. The advantages of this company are - They are created in the USA (packaged in the UK) and there is a quicker turn around then the quickutz die. I do not have any of the Go Kreate dies as of yet but will have 2 by the end of next week. (Hey Postman - Why does it take 7 days to get a package from Miami to Melbourne? We are only 191 miles apart by car.) I can confirm that the Delta Cuts dies are just like the Quickutz dies minus the little tab at the top.

Just a reminder there are two Quickutz releases this month - one January 6th (birthday themed - Someone spilled it) and another later in the month after CHA. That is suppose to be a big one with multiple alphabets (rumor is 9). So I must go because it is 4am and i have been up since 9am. Have a great Sunday..

****Edit.. The second release is for January 25th.

Sorry this was not posted earlier. But transport via air was a rough today. This little cutie is the Mascot of Scrapping Cottage. He would also be a great die for those sport teams with a bee mascot. He is not due to arrive to mid-January. (Man that feels weird to say.) He was produced by Go Create. Great work guys.
Get him here.
Happy New Years and May it Bee a safe one.. (sorry lack of sleep)
